day late and a word short….
No meds
resuscitate
like the touch
of your skin
music surrounds me
when your whisper
caresses me alive

like the touch
of your skin
music surrounds me

I like Number 1. Please inform my doctor. 🙂
touching…
Sensual 🙂
So tender:)
Lovely…such a wonderful touch. Thank you.
Ah–lovely–we all like. k.
Sensuously beautiful bill! Whether 10 or 9 does it matter?
Hank
Sensual, like a gown or great piece of street art! 😉
Whenas in silks my Julia goes,
Then, then (methinks) how sweetly flows
That liquefaction of her clothes.
Next, when I cast mine eyes, and see
That brave vibration each way free,
O how that glittering taketh me!
Robert Herrick
Beautiful!
I thought that poem fit the art gowns
ah, yes, the touch of someone you love dearly is quite the healer.
a word short but, a nice twist..
The healing power of a loved one’s touch…beautiful, no more words needed!
Beautiful… and I’m two days late!
you’re just in time 🙂
Ha, I like how you went against the grain with nine words. 🙂
Nothing like the warmth of someone’s touch! Both are beautifully captured.
thanks
Music surrounds me: magical.
Thanks
Nine words must be perfect — these are gorgeous!
Sweet. The nine worded verses are well-penned. 🙂
-HA
smiles…nothing better than the touch of a loved one…
the skin is a wonderful thing
Ha ha, you seem to have rewritten the rules. Very expressive nine words though.
Why not a nine Word go; terrific piece regardless; makes me want to do one where each of ten stanzas come down a word, so the last one would be a single word; maybe “Diminishing Returns” form; lots of fun out on the trail tonight; thanks for your boldness.
I like the ‘feel’ of this one! Sensual but understated.
sensual
short
romantic
liked it
I love this poem….you’ve touched this on point. 🙂
Nine is a good number. It works well with your words… I like how sweet the piece is.
you know it has been proven that physical touch actually causes physical changes in the body that generate healing…so i am right with you there….
Nothing like the touch of the skin ~ Nine words are good enough for me, smiles ~
Love that first one–interestingly I’ve learned, as a nurse (an old one), people have a lesser chance of getting better if they don’t have someone to get better for. So there’s a clinical validity to your point.
Lovely! I have to go look at the prompt–
Ha…the 9Word!
Wow .. that’s a set of meds.. what a wonderful touch,
