June 12, 2013

This story is prompted for Friday Fictioneers – kindly hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields Come try your hand at a 100 word story. Here is today’s photo prompt

Ladies and gentlemen, for my next trick I will dive from this second floor balcony into the tiny beer glass perched on the piano. Please hold your applause until after. Maestro, the drum roll please….

comments gleaned from the peanut gallery:

He was always such a glory hound.

Naa, I heard he once worked for the NSA.

  1. Could be the clowns come from NSA? Fun take, Bill. No Zeds lurking in that piano are there?

  2. I got a chuckle out of this.

  3. Love that take.. πŸ™‚

  4. Maybe he’s still a covert agent with the NSA and acting the clown is part of his cover–(of course, it looks like there might have been a bit of an unplanned misstep here).

  5. Good stuff. There’s a TV ad over here that runs along similar lines. As the diver gets ready, the peanut gallery comment is: “Five minutes of fame? More like five minutes of pain!”

  6. Why is it I hear Maxwell Smart saying”Missed it by that much!”

  7. So this is where former NSA workers go. Good one!

  8. Nice one! πŸ™‚

  9. Good one, Bill πŸ™‚

  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I can also see where the TSA comes in, too. That “protrusion” sticking out of the piano? Oh YEAH! Funny, Bill!

  11. “lol” and touche! πŸ˜‰

  12. I’m not sure he made it into the glass! That;s quite a feat.

  13. You don’t have a link on the FF page. πŸ™‚
