  1. I agree with that. And it’s not hard on them to declaw them as mature cats. If they live inside, I think it’s necessary to make them house acceptable. I’m aware not everyone feels like that; however, they should let their cats live outdoors with that philosophy. Enjoyed the poem.

  2. Ah.. with love they won’t use their claws on you.. another thing with furniture though

    • thanks – I was thinking of the cat as a metaphor for those cool-cats who find themselves suddenly a kitten πŸ™‚

Happened to a good friend of mine, a confirmed bachelor in his 50’s πŸ™‚

  3. Ah very nice. Love declaws the cat – the best way for that to happen!

  4. i think love may just have them use the claws a bit less
ha. i still get them at times. probably deserve them as well.

  5. haha πŸ™‚ lovely take on kitten love! πŸ™‚

  6. Never trust a cat. Even if it has been declawed. They are Evil… πŸ˜€

  7. πŸ˜€ Hmmm. Until evil kitty rises and takes over the world! Bahahahahahaha!

  8. Hmmmmm..my dear Pouce was of the same ilk as Writers Village’s cat–Loved her lovin’ and showed it by massaging my arm with her sharp claws. Fortunately, she rarely drew blood.

  9. mine claws me anyway

    • one of my best friends was a confirmed bachelor into his fifties when…. love declawed the cat.
