seamstress – limerick Reason2rhyme

January 1, 2013

Karen from Reason 2 Rhyme has offered a poetry challenge. Here’s my limerick or two.

The seamstress wove cloth with no tangle
that beheld from any height any angle
showed comely and fine
from nape to behind
she called it a fashion newfangled

Now a beautiful woman is right
when stepping out for the night
to dazzle with fashion
to heighten men’s passion
till they flutter like moths to a light

  1. Wicked lymerick! I love it.

  2. Bravo. Bravo. Bravo.

No eenie, no meenie, no moe.
    Your words weaved a thrill
    words clothed to instill

(how) you really sewed it up, Bill.

    Great Job. I loved it.

Randy (I really do feel like standing and shouting Bravo)
